Jordan Brand’s introduction of the AJ4 RM has opened the door for new updates on their classic in-line models. This week, rumors of an Air Jordan 7 RM have surfaced, along with a teaser photo, coming in 2025.
This Summer brought us the debut of Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 4 RM, a new update to the beloved sneaker nearly forty years after its debut in 1989. The silhouette is the first-ever official low-top version of the 4, and reengineers the silhouette to fit the new shape, while sticking to the model’s signature look. This has opened up a world of possibilities for more RM models, and now, it looks like the Air Jordan 7 is the next in line.
Back in 2018, Jordan introduced the first Low edition of the Air Jordan 7, before quickly retiring it to their archives. Now, it appears they are taking another swing at a modified version with an RM take arriving in 2025. The single image is dark, and makes it hard to tell what exactly they’ve changed, but it appears they are ditching the neoprene tongue from the 2018 version for a more classic lacing system. The tooling remains identical to the original, and the shoe is dressed in a classic “Bred” color scheme for its initial release.
