The “White Cement” Air Jordan 3 is easily a top ten Jordan release of all time. Worn by Mike for some momentous moments, the beloved OG colorway is now expected to get its next release in Spring 2027.
The Air Jordan 3’s “White Cement” colorway is the pinnacle of everything we love about Jumpman sneakers. Released in 1988, the silhouette introduced some timeless elements to Mike’s sneaker line, namely the elephant print pattern that appears along the 3’s toes and heels. The AJ3 also gave us a number of iconic Jordan color schemes that are still in rotation today, like the “True Blue”, “Black Cement”, and “Fire Red” stylings, and of course the White Cement pair. The AJ3 is also heavily associated with Michael’s greatness on court. Seen above in the famous 1988 Dunk Contest photo, Jordan took off for this slam from the free throw line, a never-before-seen feat of athleticism that remains one of the greatest moments in his career nearly forty years later.
Given the history of the “White Cement” Air Jordan 3, the beloved style has released countless times since its 1988 debut. The most recent rendition of the iconic color scheme landed in 2023, introducing us to the Reimagined line that takes iconic colors and models from Jordan’s career, and gives them a new spin. Next year, the Cement 3s is reportedly returning for the next chapter in it’s history, arriving sometime in Spring 2027. This release is expected to be very close to the original styles, though the timing is a bit odd considering the model will celebrate its fortieth anniversary in 2028.

The next release of the iconic “White Cement” Air Jordan 3 is hardly cemented yet, but leaks say the pair will return sometime in Spring 2027. Next year seems a touch early for a release of this caliber, given the 3’s upcoming fortieth anniversary in 2028, but hey, this OG colorway is still a must-have. Pairs will likely be available through Nike and select retailers.
