The Air Jordan 1 has seen plenty of interesting colorways in its lifetime. However, 2018’s Jordan 1 Retro High OG NRG “Homage To Home” may take the cake, splitting two of the silhouettes most famous colorways.

There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Homage to Home”. The brand-new colorway is the first of its kind for the Jordan 1 and will receive an adequate rollout to accommodate it. While the “Homage to Home” 1 was originally reported to release at the end of April, new information states that April’s release will be extremely limited. On April 21st, the Chicago Nike Store will release 2,300 numbered pairs of the split-colored Jordan, as both of the featured colorways pay tribute to the Windy City. Then, almost one month later, the Air Jordan 1 mashup will receive a global release. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Homage to Home” combines two of the most coveted colorways of all time, the “Chicago” and “Bred” Jordan 1s. Jordan Brand cut no corners with this shoe, splitting them straight down the middle with white and red on the interior of each shoe and black covering the outside.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Homage To Home” will finally release on May 19th, 2018. The split colorway will retail for $160 and launch on Nike SNKRS as well as select Jordan retailers.
