Jordan Brand is rumored to be lighting up 2018 with tons of heat, starting off with the Air Jordan 1 OG High Bred Toe. After first appearing online late in 2017 in several leaked images, a release date has been set.

The Jordan 1 ‘Bred Toe’ seeks to build off of popular recent retros 1’s like the Shattered Backboard and Top Three, utilizing high end leathers and classic color blocking. This new colorway is strikingly similar to last year’s release of the Jordan 1 ‘Black Toe’, an original 1985 colorway famously worn in the picture that became the Jumpman logo. However, the Bred Toe can be identified by the black tongue and red toe box that differentiate it from the OG color blocking. The white side panels serve as a stark contrast to the black Nike Swoosh that lays on top, while the red heel and ankle padding provide an even balance of color throughout the shoe. The sole of this Jordan 1 is plain white, with a blood red outsole. Jordan brand is rumored to be dropping many Jordan 1’s this year, and with this as the first colorway, it will be interesting to see where they go from here. Nike has recently revealed their product shots, which display the shoe beautifully and show the texture of the rich tumbled leather used for the upper.
