Aimé Leon Dore has announced their release of the New Balance Rainier boot. Featuring a Gore-Tex lining and launching in three neutral colorways, pairs are dropping in mid-December.

Teddy Santis’s work with New Balance has brought about a new wave of popularity for the East Coast footwear brand, especially with the revival of the 550 and 650 models. Now, the Aimé Leon Dore founder has dipped into the archives for another special release, crafting three signature colorways of the retro Rainier hiking boot for the brand’s winter collection. Releasing in mid-December, each pair features metal eyelets and a waterproof Gore-Tex lining to keep your feet dry throughout the rainy season. The first colorway pits the shoe in lush brown tones, paired with a bright green inner lining and heel mid layers for a pop of color, while the second mixes dark purple base layers with charcoal grey suede overlays. Finally, the tan style features light brown overlays on top of a deep maroon backdrop and black collars to complete the look.
