Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance are continuing their streak of releasing retro basketball models, this time revisiting the 650 that ALD helped resurrect last year. This time, pairs are coming in navy blue and grey.

The partnership between New York-based menswear brand Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance has brought us some of the most exciting sneaker releases of the past several years, as well as paving the way for new trends like the current wave of retro basketball models. While largely focusing on the low-top 550 silhouette, the NYC brand also helped bring back the high-top 650 model back in 2021, and will see another release sometime in the near future. Seen in two new colorways this week, the new pairs will feature an off-white mesh underlay adding crisp leather overlays in your choice of deep navy blue or gunmetal grey. Crackled leather makes up the ‘N’ logos on either side, while ALD’s custom NB logo appears on the tongues and heels of each shoe.

AIMÉ LEON DORE X NEW BALANCE 650 NAVY & GREY RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest pairs of Aimé Leon Dore’s New Balance 650 have not been announced for release, though we are likely to see them drop sometime this year. Dressed in navy blue and grey colorways, pairs will likely be available first to ALD newsletter subscribers, followed by a wider raffle release. Pairs will likely come with the same $165 price tag as the original release. Check out the early images below for a better look at both styles, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more NB release news.

UPDATE 10/4/22: Aimé Leon Dore’s raffle for their latest pairs of the New Balance 650R is now open. Featuring the navy blue, grey, and a previously-unseen green color scheme, you can sign up for your color of choice via the brand’s website, where each pair comes with a price tag of $165. The raffle will remain open until Thursday, October 6th at 11am eastern time.
