Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance have several new projects planned for 2023, with another emerging this week. Featuring the 1906R, the pair comes in a green and cream white color scheme.
Teddy Santis’s relationship with New Balance continues to grow, as the ALD founder and designer leads the Boston brand’s Made in USA division. However, Aimé Leon Dore and NB have their own projects in the works, adding a few new silhouettes to their roster for this year. Today, we got another look at their take on the 860v2, as well as a first look at the ALD 1906R. Dressed in similar shades of green, cream, and grey, the ALD 1906 will come with some special new details, namely the new flowers logo that appears on the tongues, insoles, dustbags, and special boxes. Not much is currently known about this release, though we expect to learn more in the near future.

Aimé Leon Dore’s next project with New Balance, featuring the 1906R, has not been announced for release, though we are likely to see them drop sometime in Summer 2023. Seen here in a green and cream color scheme, more colorways are expected to release alongside it from ALD. UPDATE 4/26/23: New Balance has slated their wide release of the Aimé Leon Dore 1906R in green to drop on May 4th, 2023. So far only one color scheme has emerged, though we hope to see at least the red or blue pair to join for this release.
