The adidas Yung-1 Takes on a Bold Mix of Grey and Bright Colors

The new adidas Yung-1 has started to release in all sorts of colorways, even being included in special brand collaborations. Now, a simple new colorway has popped up online, mixing neutral grey with some bright tones.

The adidas Yung-1 is slowly taking over release calendars. First previewed late last year, the Yung-1 is a slightly updated take on the 1996 Falcondorf, a cult-classic running shoe from the Three Stripes. With the chunky shoe trend in full swing, 2018 seemed like the best time to bring back the often-forgotten running classic. Now, the Yung-1 is making the rounds for the end of 2018, launching in several new colorways as well as limited edition collaborations. This week, the latest new Yung-1 has surfaced online, mixing neutral tones with striking colors for a bold new look. The multi-tiered upper begins with a pale grey tone, which is reflected along the sole, only slightly darker. The signature Three Stripes take on a bright blue color with red borders on the lateral side, while the medial set reverses the flashy color scheme. The Yung-1’s tongue branding comes set over blue leather here and features multiple trefoil logos laid over each other. Finally, the outsole of this pair features hits of black and blue to complete the look.
