The adidas Ultra Boost received another Primeknit update for 2018, meaning new color combinations and color blocking will release throughout the year. Coming soon is the latest new addition, decked out in contrasting red and blue.

The Ultra Boost is the pinnacle of adidas’ latest and greatest technological advancements, featuring the ever-popular Boost midsole and a full Primeknit upper. The 4.0 version of the knit takes inspiration from the 1.0 model, while adding more support for the wearer as well as pinstripes for visual texture. On this iteration, the knit is comprised of a handful of blue and red yarns creating a purple hue around the upper, which is then flanked by solid colored structural pieces. The TPU 3-stripe cage adorning both sides of the shoe is dipped in bright scarlet, while the typical Ultra Boost heel cup comes prepared in a deep royal blue. The contrast in these two pieces acts as a set of bookends for the varying shades of purple, red, and blue throughout the shoe. This pair is finished off with a full-length Boost midsole as well as a black Continental outsole for grip.
