The adidas NMD franchise has expanded constantly since it debuted back in 2015, growing from limited releases to near unlimited avaialability. This month, the latest version of the NMD_R1 surfaces with new Gore-Tex lined uppers.
The NMD_R1 is back with a new look for the Winter. Well, sort of a new look. Most of the changes that have been made to the Three Stripes pivotal lifestyle silhouette are on the inside, but they are a major reason the brand’s latest release is so important. For the first time ever this Winter, adidas is rebuilding their original NMD_R1 silhouette with new Gore-Tex-lined uppers. The same great shape and comfort that we’ve all come to love, paired with new water-resistant uppes. The timing could not be better as we edge closer to the rainier Winter months, and the color choice makes these an easy pair to wear with any weather-proo outfit. The main body of the shoe comes in black, matching the underfoot EVA pods, while neon green accents on the heel tab and heel of the Boost midsole complete the look.
