Winter is upon us, meaning its time to break out all of your footwear equipped to deal with inclimate weather. You don’t have any? Don’t worry, adidas has you covered with the new Gore-Tex ZX 9000 and UltraBoost, coming soon.

Its officially the rainy season in the northern hemisphere, bringing with it a wealth of new and exciting footwear from our favorite brands, equipped for the weather. This week, we have an early look at a new two-pack of weather resistant sneakers from adidas Originals, taking two fan-favorites and transforming them into Gore-Tex-clad outdoor beasts, with a look inspired by London’s streetwear culture. Featuring the ZX 9000 and UltraBoost, the “London Gore-Tex” pack casts both silhouettes entirely in black, with a single red accent along the tongue of each. Both [airs have been reengineered to add extra protection from the elements, in the form of stiff overlays or the rugged new outsole. Additionally, both their standard lacing systems have been swapped for a toggle system.

adidas Originals’ new Gore-Tex-clad two-pack of the ZX 9000 and UltraBoost have been previewed by the brand’s United Kingdom division, with release dates currently set at October 21st for the ZX 9000 and December 31st for the UltraBoost, though these are likely to change due to global shipping holdups. The two are likely to launch as a pack, from both adidas and select retailers. Check out the official images below for a better look, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more adidas release news.
