Action Bronson has been wearing New Balance shoes for years. Now, the Queens-born rapper is spinning his own take on the recently-debuted 990v6, releasing sometime in 2023.

Action Bronson is a fan of New Balance. If you’ve watched his excellent show ‘F*ck, That’s Delicious’, you’ve probably seen the artist sporting all kinds of the Boston brand’s footwear, from the 574 to nearly all of the 990 family of models. Now, Bronson has teamed up with New Balance to craft his own take on the recent 990v6, coming in 2023. After being featured in Teddy Santis’ ALD lookbook and then the 990v6 debut marketing campaign, Bronson gave us an early look at his signature pair of the model, which casts the shoe in an absolutely wild look. The pair begins with a neon green mesh base layer, adding organic-shaped mid layers in brown and grey leathers. Olive green suede makes up the mudguard of the new model, resting on top of a two-tone blue midsole. Grey suede makes up the shoe’s eyestays, while pink and purple hits on the heels complete the look.
