In addition to retros, the brand has also been channeling their best ’90s energy into new designs, using tried-and-true technologies like molded uppers and neoprene booties to mimic the silhouettes of that time. One of the most anticipated new styles is the First Sight Shadow, a women’s sneaker that has been teased and leaked across social media, partially from Frank Cooke, the Nike designer who was chastised by the brand this year for sharing teasers, but has recently got back to giving us insights behind the design process. The First Sight channels some energy from the Flightposite, with its laceless construction, molded outer shell, and neoprene inner bootie for a snug fit.
