Steven Mena’s MENACE brand returns with a new adidas collaboration this week. The two will host a World Cup watch party this Saturday, and are bringing pairs of their “Blue Burst” Predator 94 to celebrate.
MENACE seems to be adidas new go-to brand for Los Angeles activations and special projects. The two have released plenty of sneakers already this year, for the NBA All-Star Game, Mother’s Day, and this week a special World Cup project. The Los Angeles-based brand founded by Steven Mena first collaborated with the Three Stripes in October 2025, riffing on the classic Superstar with a highly detailed take on the low-top silhouette. Since then MENACE has been at the forefront of nearly every adidas event, particularly those in the LA area. This weekend, the two will host World of Sound, a hybrid watch party & activation for their latest sneaker release, leaning on the Three Stripes’ legacy football boots.
MENACE’s event in Los Angeles this weekend is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th, running from noon into the evening. Located in the city’s Fashion District, the event is part watch party, part pop-up. Both of the World Cup quarter finals games for that day ill be screened during World of Sound, broken up by raffles and giveaways during the halftime breaks, with a few DJ sets mixed in. The main attraction will be the MENACE pop-up, where they will release their adidas Predator 94 collaboration in “Blue Burst”. The sneaker boasts a nearly all-blue color scheme, covering every layer of the upper and the midsole in the light blue shade, with a gum outsole underneath. The teeth-like three stripes come in silver, and several of the shoe’s panels boast different patterns across them. The toe box adds a paisley embroidery, while the tongue features a molded diamond plate pattern. Each pair will come with a matching hangtag to complete the look. In addition to the sneakers, a special Los Angeles-themed jersey will be up for sale.

The next collaborative effort from MENACE and adidas is scheduled to release this Saturday, July 11th, 2026. The drop will take place at the World of Sound activation in Los Angeles, hosted by the two brands. The event will be both a showcase of this weekend’s World Cup quarter finals games and the official pop-up release of the “Blue Burst” Predator 94. The shoes are rumored to have a wide release on July 14th, though this is largely unconfirmed so far. The shoes will be priced at $160, with an accompanying LA jersey available for sale as well.
