Salomon is gearing up for Summer with new colors of their XT-Whisper trail shoe. Three new styles have landed this morning, featuring a more craft-focused approach to construction, dubbed the “Embroidery” pack.
Salomon’s XT-Whisper sneaker returned to the fray of the footwear world in early 2025. The model is originally from the year 2000, designed as a women’s trail running model to accompany the men’s version, the XT-Hawk. The Whisper has been steady in the French outdooring brand’s rotation since it’s return, and has been featured in plenty of collaborative releases including styles from Kith, Sandy Liang, Aries, and END. Clothing. This week, Salomon has quietly dropped three stunning new colorways of the model, which feature a more craft-focused construction. Dubbed the “Embroidery” pack, the new styles ditch the technical materials in favor of comfortable classics, including a wide gauge mesh base layer for better breathability, and suede overlays instead of taped synthetic panels. The Whisper’s signature jagged stripe down each side is made using embroidery instead of synthetic application for each pair. Three colors are included in this pack, a bright “Almond Cream”, a more moody “Pearl Blue”, and finally a lush “Lichen Green” to round out the collection.

Salomon’s latest batch of colors for their XT-Whisper retro runner has landed this morning, on March 20th, 2026. The trail sneaker comes in three colors for this release, “Almond Cream”, “Pearl Blue”, and “Lichen Green”. All three styles have released via Salomon’s US website, priced at $150 each.
