Hellstar and adidas are going all in for the NBA All-Star celebration in Los Angeles this week. Today, the Superstar has surfaced as a part of their weekend offerings, dressing the low-top icon in a “Sandstone” camouflage pattern.
Hellstar released their debut collaboration with adidas, and already the LA brand is headlining some of the Three Stripes releases at All-Star Weekend. Their first pass at an adi collaboration featured the Superstar, covered in flame-inspired detailing. The shoes release in the latter half of 2025 at ComplexCon, and currently go for a hefty few hundred dollars on resale markets. Last week, they unveiled their standout release for the NBA celebration in their hometown, a pair of Anthony Edwards’ AE2 sneaker in a light camouflage look. Now, their heavily modified Superstar is back in a matching look. Their take on the iconic trainer features exposed foam edges, flame cutouts at the read of the shoe, and extra panels stitched on top of the sidewalls. Continuing with their color story from the AE2, this pair features a “Sandstone” colored camouflage pattern, with just a hint of electric green via a tab on the heels.
