New Balance just released their latest wave of seasonal styles from the Made in USA product line, and already we have some early looks at new pairs. Today, the 990v6 emerged in a teal “Clay Ash” style, coming soon.
The New Balance 990v6 is one of the more interesting modern-day models from the iconic running brand. Introduced a few years ago, the silhouette marks the sixth iteration of the 990 franchise, which debuted in 1982. The silhouette has been updated every few years since, and the v6 bridges the gap between performance and lifestyle. The editorial campaign for the shoe’s launch positioned it as a modern-day running shoe, but the model sits almost exclusively amongst their casual offerings.
This week, new colors of the 990v6 have surfaced, following the release of their latest Made in USA Seasonal styles. Among the new looks is a “Clay Ash” pair, which brings a healthy dose of color to the sleek runner. The new style features a gunmetal grey mesh base layer, adding cream white suede structural support mid layers. The outer panels come in a pastel light blue shade, while dark teal accents line the lacing system and make up the entire midsole.

New Balance’s next colorway of their Made in USA 990v6 for the SS25 collection has not been announced for release yet, but will arrive sometime soon in 2025. The “Clay Ash” style, mixing shades of grey with teal will be available from the brand’s website as well as select retailers for $200.
