You might be scratching your head and wondering if this is a joke but we can assure you it is not. Kanye is changing the game as the Yeezy Foam Runner was just announced for a 2020 release.
We saw North West sporting these awhile back on a family vacation trip and now they were just revealed for a 2020 release. Arriving in croc-like fashion, these can be the Yeezy that everyone owns. The silhouette takes on a futuristic design yet it appears as a very simple shoe. It’s a slip-on shoe that takes on multiple perforations throughout the upper so the chances to show off your sock game with these are endless.
From first images, just a white pair is shown but from Kanye’s Forbes shoot we saw multiple colorways of these so expect to see different themes and shades of colors on a later date. These can definitely change the game and wipe out the trendy slides look as they arrive in Kanye grand fashion. However these will perform, they are expected to be affordable as well as when asked if they’ll see a $75 price tag, Yeezy Mafia announced that they’d be much lower and “very affordable” so that’s a plus. UPDATE: ASAP Ferg just showed off a new colorway of the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner in Red. A release date has not been discussed but expect to see these roll out this Spring and Summer.
UPDATE: Kanye revealed at the Fast Company Innovation Festival that his upcoming clog silhouette or Yeezy Foam Runner is made partially from algae and will retail for $75. Another example of adidas’ and Ye’s mission of creating more earth-conscious materials.
