With an abundance of recent Yeezy releases, it appears that Mr. West is keeping his word in terms of supplying derivatives of his models to the masses. Now, adidas and Kanye set out to release yet another silhouette: the newest “Rock” Yeezy Desert Boot.
Kanye West’s efforts to continue expanding the Yeezy line with adidas have appear to come to full fruition over the last couple of releases. With models dropping nearly every month, both adidas and Kanye are treating fans to an array of models and colorways. The latest Yeezy Desert Boot epitomizes the design aspects of their partnership; on one hand we see the functionality, forward-thinking design of adidas, while the other shows a high-fashion aesthetic that Kanye has always presented through his own line.
Composed of suede, nubuck and mesh materials, the newest Yeezy model resembles the 500’s with some alterations in its height and design. The mid-cut Yeezy Desert Boot offers fans a change from the typical low-cut shoe adidas and Kanye have released. The boot dons an overarching earth tone colorway with slight contrasts between the midsole, the upper, and a gum-like bottom sole.
