Vans has teamed up with Discovery for a “Shark Week” collection that supports Oceana’s mission to save the oceans. The latest collaboration ranges from footwear to clothing that celebrates the majestic creatures known as sharks.
As shark week begins, Vans has prepared a full collection alongside Discovery to aid Oceana’s mission; to save our oceans and protect the sharks that live there. The capsule takes on a realistic approach while also delivering some cartoon-like sharks across their sneakers. Each piece features a shark theme design that embodies classic Vans’ approach while also paying homage to Discovery’s Shark Week.
While the main focus is placed onto their iconic sneakers, the collection also features an array of clothing and kids footwear as well. At the forefront is the SK8-Hi iteration that features a realistic shark cleverly biting off part of its Sidestripe. A Vans slip-on is also part of the pack and features a vibrant and colorful option to the Shark Week motif. In addition to the aforementioned pairs, the collaboration also features kids footwear that take on a more playful design. The clothing coincides with its sneakers portraying similar designs and aesthetics found on foot. Careful curated with intentions of saving our oceans, a must cop for any fan of Vans and sharks alike.
