Last month we got a look at the Undercover x Nike collection rumored to be releasing soon. The wait appears to be over as both of the Undercover x Nike Daybreak’s will be releasing later this week.
Undercover has quite the stacked resume when it comes to the fashion industry. Originating in Japan, head designer Takahashi has mixed street-wear culture with a premier designer aesthetic. He has had quite the success when it comes to releasing clothing and accessories that it earned him a partnership with Nike.
For this collection, it will consist of two versions of the Nike Daybreak shoe and also clothing to go along with it. Originally released in the ’80s the retro runner returns with a futuristic aesthetic. Coming dressed in a black and blue version, they look to satisfy everyone. Highlighting the silhouette is a speckled midsole and an extended heel clip that really gives the shoe an updated look. Both contain various materials used on the upper, white laces, a white Nike Swoosh on the midfoot and Undercover branding on the heel tab, midsole and tongue label as a tribute to Takahashi’s “beautiful mix of chaos and creativity”.
UNDERCOVER X NIKE DAYBREAK RELEASE INFORMATION
The Undercover x Nike Daybreak Collection was just revealed to be released on June 7th, 2019 at select retailers, Undercovers website and on the Nike SNKRS app for a retail price of just $160.
