UNDEFEATED released their redux of 2017’s UNDFTD Nike Air Max 97 this week, finally releasing the famed Olive pair from ComplexCon in 2017. Now, a third colorway has emerged just days afterward, showing off the UNDFTD 97 in a UCLA-inspired color scheme.
UNDEFEATED’s re-release of its Nike Air Max 97 dropped earlier this week, giving fans a shot at the previously unreleased olive colorway from 2017, as well as a new black and volt color scheme that pays homage tot he Air Max 95. Now, just days after the drop, a third colorway of the UNDEFEATED Air Max 97 has emerged, showing off the vintage runner in a ‘UCLA’ color scheme from the brand’s native Los Angeles. The look blankets the retro silhouette almost entirely in white, from the mesh base layers to the mudguard that wraps the entirety of the silhouette. The repeated ‘UNDEFEATED’ branding around the middle of the shoe comes in a bright blue stripe this time, with a secondary yellow one just on top. More blue and yellow UNDEFEATED detailing can be found on the tongue, heels, and inner lining.
UNDEFEATED X NIKE AIR MAX 97 “UCLA” RELEASE INFORMATION
UNDEFEATED’s famed take on the coveted Nike Air Max 97 in the new “UCLA” color scheme has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to land at stores sometime during the first few weeks of 2020. Unveiled after the release of the black and olive colorways earlier this week, this third pair could very well be a limited-edition ‘friends & family’ release unless otherwise noted by UNDFTD.
