Travis Scott’s signature line with Nike is largely focused on everyday lifestyle footwear. However, the Cactus Jack artist has dabbled in performance models, adding the Zoom Vapor 12 to his arsenal this year.
The relationship between Nike and Travis Scott began nearly ten years ago, in 2017. The Swoosh was celebrating thirty-five years of the Air Force 1, and tapped La Flame to contribute to their AF100 series with his first signature release. Later that year gave us the first Cactus Jack-branded sneakers with the Jordan Trunner, and releases have been steady with multiple drops each year since. The vast majority of Travis’ footwear work with Nike is in lifestyle, delivering fresh colors on iconic Nike sneakers, though every once in a while the two will cook up a performance ready sneaker. The first one was a Jordan 33 in 2019, and the most recent is both cleat & indoor versions of the Phantom 6 soccer boot. This week, we have an early look at their latest court-ready sneaker, a Cactus Jack pair of the Zoom Vapor 12 tennis shoe. Travis has dabbled in tennis before with his reverse Swoosh Mac Attack, though never with a current performance model. His Zoom Vapor 12 will come in a mix of Ivory and Muslin off-white shades, with brown accents for the Swoosh, outsoles, laces, and inner lining.
TRAVIS SCOTT X NIKE ZOOM VAPOR 12 RELEASE INFORMATION
The next performance shoe to join Travis Scott’s lineup with Nike, the Zoom Vapor 12, has not been officially announced yet, so no release date has been set. However, pairs are expected to release later in 2026. The Vapor 12 is one of their flagship models for the tennis court, and will come in an off-white and brown color scheme for La Flame’s release, complete with a backwards Swoosh. Pairs will likely be available from both partners, and pricing is rumored to be $170, an interesting small step down from the standard shoe’s $180 price tag.
