Travis Scott only teamed up with Nike and Jordan Brand less than a year ago, with the first release from the pair came at ComplexCon in the form of the Air Force 1. Next up is the rapper’s exclusive Air Jordan 4, and we have an early in hand look for you guys.

Travis Scott is on top of the world. The twenty-five-year-old rapper recently celebrated the birth of his first child with Kylie Jenner. Furthermore, his collaborative Air Jordan 4 is making waves in the sneaker industry, and we got our hands on a pair to check them out for you guys. The limited-edition Jordan is made to honor Scott’s childhood football team, the Houston Oilers, before they moved to Tennessee and became the Titans.

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 “Houston Oilers” is unlike any Jordan 4 we’ve seen before. To start, the upper is made entirely from a light blue smooth leather made to mimic the Oilers colors.  All of the signature Jordan 4 details will come in black, like the eyelets, support cages, laces, and mesh overlays. We already know that the heel tab comes in black, with Scott’s Cactus Jack branding printed in blue. Finally, the midsole of this Jordan 4 comes in white with a black outsole. In hand, the new Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 is stunningly beautiful. The upper is made from a stiff Durabuck leather, a resistant form of nubuck with a smooth and soft feel. The red Cactus Jack logo on the heel tab is a brilliant addition, standing out from the speckled black background.

The Travis Scott Air Jordan 4 Retro will release on June 9th, 2018. The “Houston Oilers” colorway will retail for a whopping $225 and are dropping from both Nike SNKRS and select Jumpman retailers. Head over to our release page for a full list of online retailers.
