Ranging from styles and models, this month was a great month for all things creative. Sit back and relax as we highlight our top picks, we hope you enjoy.

10. ADIDAS STREETBALL “13TH FRIDAY”

@itsgeza

As one of adidas’ latest introductions to their lineup, the Streetball model blends aesthetics both new and old. Reminiscent of ’90’s fashion, the model boasts its long heritage while bringing forth a unique take on current trends. While the sneaker itself stands out, @itsgeza took it a step further and added a vintage motif throughout the silhouette. Its upper is composed of a bleached and stressed design that is accentuated by its black counterparts. Dubbed as “The 13th Friday,” the Streetball custom provides fans with a ‘hellish’ look that is perfectly contrasted with the bright and vibrant midsole.

9. NIKE AIR FORCE 1 “OFFSET”

@vijzbespokes

The Nike Air Force 1 has become a staple of both sneaker history and custom work alike. Its simplistic design allows artists to use the canvas in any way as they please–and that’s exactly what @vijzbespokes did. Completely handcrafted, this iteration of the Air Force 1 was made specifically made for Offset as a 1:1 design. What appears to be some sort of green faux animal-hair-like upper, the intricacy and workmanship is very well done. One of the most interesting of features are the interchangeable Swooshes and patches instead of the typical tongue tag. While the extra additions are not seen above, head over to the artist’s page for a closer and detailed look at the Air Force 1’s.

8. ADIDAS STAN SMITH “NIPSEY HUSSLE”

@toddstanbury

As one of the most prolific artists of recent times, the untimely death of LA native Nipsey Hussle subsequently led to the celebration of his life and accomplishments. With a plethora of custom work to honor his likeness, artist @toddstanbury took a subtle yet vibrant approach to pay respects to the late rapper with his Stan Smith iteration. Opting for a simple white and blue color scheme, the design compliments the silhouette perfectly with neither overshadowing the other. While the model is evidently the center piece, a complete capsule was created alongside the pair to make this custom truly a one-of-a-kind tribute.

7. NIKE ADAPT BB “SNEAKER REPORTER”

@andr3wtl

As the NBA season quickly approaches us, it makes sense that these would land on the list. Combining the aesthetics of the latest Nike Adapt model and the vibrant colors of the Thunder’s color scheme, artist @andr3wtl creates an eye-catching iteration. While the upper presents an overarching blue colorway, the most notable of features is the orange/yellow Swoosh imposed on its lateral side that reads “Thunder Up” very subtly. In addition to the words within the swoosh, a Thunder’s logo is also placed on its heel panel for an extra dose of thunder. Check out his page for more images and an on-foot look.

6. NIKE AIR FORCE ONE “TIE-DYE”

@ryustyler

Although we’ve seen an Air Force 1 model on our list, this Tie-Dye iteration was too good to pass. Using the popular Tie-Dye theme, the silhouette boasts its design while bringing forth a bright colors scheme. As artist @ryustyler mentions, the color looks more opalescent than dyed but regardless of which you prefer, the outcome is just as great. Contrasted by an all-white Swoosh and midsole, the model is complimented with an outsole that bares resemblance to its upper. In addition, the picture setup is just as beautiful as the pair that is presented, truly a piece of art worth staring at.

5. ADIDAS JALEN RAMSEY CLEAT “GOYARD”

@huycustoms

Our first cleat introduction to the list could not have been better than the above pair. Made as a 1:1 for Jalen Ramsey himself, the adidas cleat dons an intricate Goyard pattern. Intended to mimic the luxurious handbags, the entire piece is hand painted and shows @huycustoms’ attention to detail. The panel is covered in multiple color schemes that contrast nicely against the white upper and sole. The Three Stripes are presented with a black color way that brings the silhouette together for a luxurious and artistic take.

4. JBF x MACHE ASSASSINS

@jbcustoms @mache

Quite possibly one of the most unique pairs thus far, this collaboration between JBF and Mache is simply too good to not have on our list. Literally taken from a cartoon, the model was first seen on Homer’s (The Simpsons) feet. Now, the sneaker is a reality thanks to both artists featured above; JBF handcrafted the pair from scratch and acts as a direct parallel to the cartooned version. Mache’s contribution to the pair is seen through the colorway and truly combines both artists specific skill set into an intricate and playful iteration.

3. AIR JORDAN 1 “ARI MENTHOL”

@fiammastudios

This Jordan 1 iteration plays off its original predecessor; the Menthol 10’s and acted as a true expression of art. Following similar aesthetics and colorways, @fiammastudios opted for a high-cut version of the aforementioned model. The original designer, Ari Saal Forman, wanted to make a statement and did so with his limited run. Now, the 1:1 pair creates a beautiful take with its simplistic color and meaningful story.

2. ADIDAS “COVER SNEAKER”

@studiohagel

Footwear designer @studiohagel often produces experimental designs that push the boundaries of what a sneaker is. Its latest iteration repurposes what appears to be a vintage adidas jacket into a clothe upper. Highlighting The Three Stripes beautifully across the lateral side and down the middle, the white is contrasted with a classic blue colorway. The sole bares a close resemblance to ’90’s fashion (much like its upper) and brings forth a unique interpretation.

1. ADIDAS INIKI “SACAI WAFFLE”

@govrn_
Combining the best of both worlds, sneaker designer @govrn gives us a “what if?” scenario. Inspired by the Nike Sacai Waffle, the footwear designer brings forth an amazing iteration of a the adidas Iniki. Composed of a double layered Boost sole and double layered textiles, the silhouette truly blends the aesthetics of both into one. Featuring teal suede panels, leather eyelets, and faux snake skin leather on its tongue, the model has many parts to complete the design. In addition, the model also dons parts of an NMD and Alpha Edge throughout its upper creating an amazing iteration.
