It’s been awhile but we’re back with a huge splash as finally 2020 is off to the races with a great weekend of shoes ahead. Here’s the top sneaker releases that are going down this weekend.

The year has had quite a slow start but we knew February would kick start the releases and this weekend it is in full effect. While there isn’t an enormous amount of sneakers becoming available, sometimes quality is better than quantity as it was pretty tough to give out the top three spots for this weekend.

The weekend is clearly dominated by Nike but adidas has two new Yeezy’s being debuted this weekend that many will be out to get. The adidas MNVN will finally be making its anticipated two year debut in an Orange and Triple Black variant. We all know how Yeezy’s go when they’re the first of their kind, so you may not want to sleep on them especially as they fall under the normal $300 retail price. There’s also a Nike LeBron 7 releasing in the loved All-Star colorway that comes equipped with a baby blue upper and a reflective 3M mudguard. Other choices for the weekend include the Nike Air Force 1 City of Dreams that’s an early roll-out of Nike’s All-Star Game weekend lineup as well as the plaid PG4. Now while you try and decide which one of those you’re going to pick up, let’s get into the top three releases of the weekend.

#3 – Nike SB Dunk Low “Plum”

Originally released exclusively in Japan in 2001 during the peak of the Nike SB Dunk, this Plum edition was released as apart of the “Ugly Duckling Pack”. Now as it returns 19 years later, the US will be lucky enough to get a release this time around. While the backstory qualifies it alone to make the podium, the design is one of the best yet and kicks off 2020, what many are saying will be the year of the Dunk.

#2 – Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Varsity Red”

Arriving with peak 1985 cut, this Varsity Red Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 is a sneakerheads dream. With the premium leather upper, nostalgic cut, and the beloved red and black colorway, it’s a no brainer these made the cut for the weekend. They’re also expected to be extremely limited so if you’re able to, you might want to pick up a pair.

#1 – Strangelove x Nike SB Dunk Low

Bringing home the gold this weekend is the Strangelove x Nike SB Dunk Low. Anticipated for months, the Valentine’s Day inspired sneakers are finally releasing just in time for the weekend before the holiday. The Soft Pink colorway equipped with luxurious velvet all throughout and Strangelove branding motif makes this a great pair of kicks for any sneakerhead. Many have eyed these for weeks, so don’t expect them to be an easy cop, especially with the low retail price the Dunks contain.
