Tobe Nwigwe is back with his next Reebok release. After their collaborative debut early this year, the two have turned to a low-top sneaker, dubbed the Chukwu Abuo, dressed in tonal colors and accompanied by an apparel collection for the whole family.
Tobe Nwigwe’s star has been on the rise over the past few years, thanks to his thoughtful music and heavily stylized visuals to accompany it. After an injury kept him from participating in the NFL draft, Nwigwe turned to music full-time, working closely with his wife and a wide range of other collaborators like Pharrell, Duckwrth, Big K.R.I.T. and more. Last year, Nwigwe announced a new partnership with Reebok, which would bring his signature mint green shade to a wide range of sneakers and apparel.
The first collection from Nwigwe and Reebok arrived early this year, reworking the brand’s Preseason 94 silhouette into the Chukwu OTU silhouette. This week, the two have announced their sophomore project, which features another new silhouette for the whole family, alongside a full apparel collection. The sneaker is the Chukwu Abuo, and bears some resemblance to the ever-popular Club C. Constructed from a mix of mesh and suede layers, the model will come in two colorways. Both pairs are tonal, one in Tobe’s mint green shade and the other in a neutral Chalk tone. Both styles also come with a gum sole, and a unique toggle lacing system that utilizes a small cutout of suede instead of a plastic fastener.

The next project from artist Tobe Nwigwe and Reebok has been scheduled to release next week, on August 22nd 2025. The collection is anchored by their new Chukwu Abuo silhouette in Chalk and Mint colorways, accompanied by a range of apparel. Sneakers will be available in full family sizing through Reebok, with adult sizes priced at $130.
