The PUMA Clyde has seen a lot of love from the brand in the past few years, thanks in part to the revival of their Hoops category. Now, the legendary silhouette is taking on projects from new partners, like The Hundreds new look, dropping this week.

The PUMA Clyde has been a mainstay of the sneaker world since it first released all the way back in 1970. Built for Walter “Clyde” Frazier, the low-top suede shoes were the first ever signature footwear for an athlete. Since then, the Clyde has taken a stepback from the hardwood, becoming one of the most beloved lifestyle shoes in the process. This week, the vintage silhouette gets a modern rework, courtesty of Los Angeles’ The Hundreds. For their take, The Hundreds took inspiration from the Clyde’s original color scheme, combining them all into one shoe to celebrate the silhouette through the decades. The Hundreds Clyde features suede lateral panels, leather for the medial sides, and the brand’s logo embroidered on the outer side.
