With how 2020 began for the Air Jordan 1, we expect the year to just keep getting better and it looks like that’s exactly the case with this new “Satin Snake” iteration.

Lately we have seen the Satin theme get more and more popular with Jordan Brand. First it was the women’s shattered backboards then it was the varsity red womens’ AJ1 and then just recently we saw the men’s black satin Jordan 1 release. Now they look to go back to their roots with a women’s iteration that features the coveted Chicago-inspired color blocking.

Dressed in Gym Red, White and Black, white satin covers the side paneling and toe while a normal white tongue dresses the forefoot. Red satin then comes into play on the texturizing overlays, providing the beloved Chicago look. Black Snakeskin then is used to equip the Nike Swoosh overlay and ankle for a unique and trendy touch to the popular look.
