The Nike Air Tailwind series is somewhat legendary among sneakerheads, particularly those prone to the famous Air technology. First released in 1979 and featuring the original rendition of the air-filled bag technology, the Tailwind has been a cult classic ever since, particularly the later iterations. It appears the team at Supreme is in on the legend, as their latest collaboration with Nike features the Air Tailwind 4, and rumored to release during week 3. The old school runner is decked out in the New York-based skate brand’s favorite color schemes, one in classic red and white, and a second in triple black with blue and gold accents. If Supreme’s last Nike release is an example, the Swoosh is likely to continue releasing retro iterations of the Air Tailwind 4 throughout the year.

The Supreme x Nike Air Tailwind 4 is rumored to release first on March 7th from Supreme, followed shortly by a release on SNKRS on March 9th. The retro runner will retail for a hefty $190, due to the Supreme partnership, and will release from both retailers.
