Supreme FW20 is gearing up to start and just today we saw a leak surface that showcased an upcoming Supreme x Nike Air Max 96 that may even release later this year.
When you think of the Nike Air Max collection, the AM96 is one of the sneakers that often gets overlooked. Not because the shoe was bad but because Nike has found their AM1, AM90, AM95, and AM97 more marketable and attached handfuls of colorways to those sneakers while the Air Max 96 has been kept limited and exclusive. Nike may have some future plans with the silhouette though as a Supreme collaboration sets up the sneaker for success after the fact which Nike will likely ride all the way out.
This Air Max 96 arrives in a black leather and mesh upper while featuring translucent detailing to the sneaker that showcases bright red accents peeking out from underneath. Fans can expect double branding throughout but from this early look, a Nike Swoosh is placed on the ankles and a Supreme Box Logo adorns the heels to solidify the collaboration. A white midsole, orange Air Max unit, and black outsole finish off the brand new look. It is possible other colorways will be included with the release and not just this black edition, but we will have to wait for more details to see.

As of now, we aren’t exactly sure when the Supreme Nike Air Max 96 will be released but with the surfacing coming as the FW20 season is being revealed, it’s very possible the release comes this year.
