Since 2017, Kyrie Irving and Sneaker Room have taken time to raise money and awareness while also honoring their late mothers together on signature Nike shoes. This year, the duo take a different take to the “I Love You Mom” renditions with a brand new “Mother Nature” pack on the Nike Kyrie 7.

Set to drop in 2022, the Kyrie x Sneaker Room collection will be their fourth installment. Dedicated to Sneaker Room owners, Suraj Kaufman’s later mother Ellen, and Kyries mom, Elizabeth, the duo have been giving us great renditions since 2017 which will now include a mismatched approach with the Kyrie 7 that you are guaranteed to enjoy.

Opting for a new direction in 2022, Suraj stated, “Kyrie, being part Native American and doing so much with Standing Rock, the tribe that his mom belonged to – we were talking about mothers and how we come to be: Mother Nature. Mother Earth. Let’s touch that aspect, and not be so symbolic of just a red heart, or using gold if that’s what you’d give as a gift. Let’s touch the elements.”

Now we have two different sets of sneakers that feature a mismatched yellow and green offering and a blue and orange pair. All four feature their designated colorway with extra detailing of flowers, butterflies, and heart graphics while also featuring a cool customization opportunity to honor your own mother on the heels.

Another incentive as well is that 100% of the proceeds will be donated to a variety of different community programs in New Jersey along with the New Jersey Medical Center. It’s estimated that after all of the launches since 2017, $500,000 has been raised and the number will continue throughout the years.
