UK retailer size? has cooked up an exciting project this month, teaming up with PUMA and The Godfather to celebrate the historic trilogy through a trio of Palermo sneakers, each taking inspiration from a famous scene in the movies.

Francis Ford Coppola’s legendary mafioso film The Godfather turns fifty years old in 2022, marking half a century since the debut of one of the most celebrated films of all time. To honor the occasion, the British sneaker aficionados at retailer size? have cooked up an exciting collaboration to celebrate, tapping PUMA to use their Sicilian-inspired Palermo sneaker as a canvas for three colorways, each inspired by famous scenes from the movie. First up, “The Wedding” Palermo pays homage to Connie and Carlo’s wedding through a bold green suede Palermo, recalling the garden setting of the event. Next, “The Restaurant” pair appears in bright electric blue and pink, mimicking the neon sign of the setting for one of the movie’s most deadly shootouts. Finally, “The Bar” Palermo mixes a cream white upper with lush red accents to call back to the copious amounts of wine from the scene.

size? is currently hosting a raffle for their PUMA x The Godfather Palermo collection, which can be found in the retailer’s size? Previews app. Each pair, inspired by a specific scene from one of the Godfather movies, will be available exclusively via size? with a price tag of approximately $115 for each one. Check out the campaign photos for a better look at each shoe, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more PUMA release news.
