Nike’s latest entry in the Air Max 90’s ongoing 30th-anniversary celebration is here. Available for customization on Nike By You, the color set has been curated by Los Angeles-based SHABBAAAAA for a new Jamaican theme.
Nike’s Air Max 90 has been on a tear this year, arriving in wave after wave of both new and original colorways, in celebration of the timeless silhouette’s 30th anniversary. While we’ve seen plenty of classics retroed as well as some interesting new looks, one of the best new options has been customizable options via Nike by You, allowing us to create our own personal color scheme. Now, in one of the AM90’s rare collaborations of 2020, SHABBAAAAA has debuted a new palette for the 90, inspired by Jamaica. Founded by Drewbyrd and Sean G, the LA-based brand hosts underground parties inspired by Jamaican dancehalls, so the translation into a Nike shoe was fairly simple. The basic version of the SHABBAAAAA Air Max 90 paints the shoe in a mostly white upper, featuring a black Swoosh and olive green detailing on the tongue and heels, though all of this is eligible for a change at your own discretion.

Nike’s latest ‘By You’ project, featuring an array of tones inspired by Jamaica and curated by SHABBAAAAA launched earlier this week for the Air Max 90 and is currently available directly from the Swoosh’s customization platform. Once, you’ve settled on a final design, this special-edition AM90 will run you a cool $140.
