Vans Vault has announced another project this week, this time teaming up with Chicago’s Saint Alfred on a new limited edition release. The new project focuses on the OG Authentic LX as a canvas and covers two pairs in a previously-forgotten acid print pattern.

Saint Alfred’s collaborations have helped draw plenty of attention to the Chicago brand in recent years, due to their attention to detail as well as the use of premium materials. This month, the retailer has teamed up with Vans’ exclusive Vault sector for a special new release of the OG Authentic LX. The inspiration from the new pack comes from the Saint Alfred team sifting through the Vans archives and discovering a long-unused acid wash pattern for canvas. Knowing they were on to something, both collaborative partners came up with an exciting set of sneakers that prominently feature the previously lost pattern in two colorways, Black and Pesto.
