Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low “Crane” Coming in 2025

Rui Hachimura is making the most of his Jordan deal, with the Jumpman producing a number of stellar PEs for the Lakers’ forward. This week, we got an early look at his “Crane” edition of the Air Jordan 1 Low, coming in 2025.

When Rui Hachimura was drafted to the NBA in 2019, he became just the second Japanese-born athlete to play in the league. The move to the US professional league came after a short but successful career at Gonzaga, and an illustrious career in Japan prior to that. In 2020, Rui released his first Jordan Brand, featuring the AJ20. This was followed by pairs of 8s, 36s, and 37s, and a special-edition Air Jordan 1 Low that never released to the public, until now.

This week, official images of Hachimura’s “Crane” Air Jordan 1 Low surfaced online, with a release expected early in 2025. The first edition of the shoe, given exclusively to him, came in a black colorway with a pattern of flowers and cranes across its overlays. The new style flips the colorway into a smooth “Oatmeal” tan shade, paired with black Swooshes and bright pink flowers.
