Following the recent article about 20 year old Allen Kuo who was able to acquire 100 pairs of the recent Yeezy 750 Boosts, we now have another story about a reseller who got his hands on a ton of pairs early as well.
Solexchange sat down with the unanimous reseller who goes by the name Derrick, who revealed how we was able to get his hands on a large amount of Yeezy 750 Boost “Light Grey/Gum” pairs early. He claimed that he got his hands on 127 pairs of Yeezys and made $228k in just 2 days, flipping each pair for $1800. The reseller also claimed to have connections with over 60 store managers, and revealed that he was sent the shoes before they released. Similar to the Allen Kuo story, what it comes down to is the greed of the companies and store managers Derrick meets up with who want to make extra money that fuels this reseller. He claims every store practices this abuse in store policy. This is definitely an issue the sneaker industry needs to bring attention to. What are your thoughts?
