Reebok and National Geographic Magazine have announced a new partnership this week, kicking things off with a footwear collection featuring colorways inspired by natural wonders of the world, coming soon.
The partnership between Reebok and National Geographic is all about the outdoors, highlighting various regions and natural wonders through each piece of footwear. The project’s roots come from the National Geographic Explorers, the magazines’s network of photographers and researchers who take photos and tell stories for the publication. For this debut project, Reebok tapped two photographers, Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant and Matthieu Paley, taking inspiration for the collection from both of their experiences in the field, like the “Lost Forest” Club C, which takes its design cues from forest habitats, as seen through a brown and green suede upper. Other footwear choices include the Club C Revenge Legacy inspired by ancient Mayan ruins, or the tonal desert-like Classic Leather Legacy AZ.
