Puma’s archives are filled with hundreds of silhouettes spanning dozens of categories. This week, the brand reintroduced the Trailfox, a vintage trail runner now repurposed as a lifestyle shoe, the Trailfox Overland, with a sleek and aggressive new look.

Puma’s new Trailfox Overland looks incredible. Taking their original silhouette, first debuted back in the early 2000s, Puma has repurposed the aggressive shoe, rebranding it as a lifestyle model and making some subtle changes to adapt it into a street-ready variation. Now, the Trailfox Overland is finally here, and we’re excited to take the first look. First, much of the Trailfox’s general look was retained in the new design, featuring an aggressive trail-ready outsole and a series of stiff overlays around the lower portions of the upper to provide support and stability in unorthodox conditions. The new iteration covers the shoe’s lacing system, leaving the central portions barely visible and adding a number of orange accents along the sides to make it pop.

Puma’s new Trailfox Overland silhouette launched earlier this week, on August 1st, 2019. The retro trail runner-turned-lifestyle sneaker is now available directly from Puma for $130, with a wider release at select retailers expected in the coming weeks. Check out the first iteration of the Trailfox Overland below for a better look, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more Puma release news.
