PUMA’s recently revived Hoops division has been on fire this year, thanks to their signing of key athletes and great-looking new designs for the court. In addition to new models, the brand is also reviving classic from back in the day, like this month’s Source Mid.

The PUMA Source first hit the hardcourt back in 1997, as a part of the brand’s thriving basktball division. The silhouette was advanced for its time, sporting PUMA’s Trinomic midsole technology and a higher cut for extra support as the game grew more and more rigorous. Now, as the German sportswear giant is reviving the vintage model, the construction remains largely the same, still featuring the hexagonal air-filled Trinomic tech from before. The latest release of the Source Mid paints the retro classic in two colorways, one mixing navy blue base layers with black overlays, and the second in white with accents in purple and black.
