The revival of PUMA’s Ralph Sampson has been a hit this year, prompting the German Sportswear brand to continually refresh the vintage silhouette in new colorways. This week, PUMA is paying homage to the legend himself, with a new “Royalty” colorway.

Puma’s Ralph Sampson has been a hit in the lifestyle category this year, after returning for the first time ever since the 80s. The re-release comes as a part of the brand’s basketball revival, which has included brand hoops silhouettes as well as the return of several signature sneakers from legendary players. The latest colorway of the Ralph Sampson High celebrates legend himself with a special-edition “Royalty” color scheme. The new look begins with a white leather base for the high-top silhouette, constructed from a mix of standard and perforated leathers. Suede overlays on the lacing system and toebox come in muted grey, while the heels and inner lining come in metallic gold. Finally, bold blue suede Formstrips and deep red detailing complete the “Royalty” theme.

PUMA’s latest colorway of its high-top Ralph Sampson has been scheduled to release this week, on April 16th, 2020. Both new colorways, one blue, and one all-white (unpictured) will be available from both PUMA and select retailers for their usual $80 price tag.
