Puma’s got another new silhouette up their sleeve this month, again using the new LQDCell system as its base. The Tension, releasing tomorrow, strays from their recent lifestyle releases in favor of a training shoe perfect for anything you can throw at it.

Puma Sportswear returns with another new silhouette this month, this time purpose-built for high-intensity training regimens. Titled the LQDCELL Tension, the sleek new look combines modern-day Puma designs with the latest update to the 90s Cell technology that’s been all over their footwear in recent months. The new silhouette begins with a single-piece mesh upper in white, reinforced by Puma’s signature Formstrip on the outer side in plain black. The Formstrip is matched by the stiff TPU heel clips, which provide structure and shape to the Tension while also giving much-needed support when pushing off or coming down hard during training. The midsole features several different technologies inside, contrasting standard squishy EVA, used to provide a stable platform over long periods, with LQDCell advanced cushioning, which uses hexagonal-shaped pockets to maximize comfort.

Puma’s latest training silhouette, the LQDCell Tension, is officially scheduled to release tomorrow, July 25th, 2019. The sleek new silhouette will be available from both Puma and select sportswear retailers, carrying a price point of just $100.
