Despite the lack of an NBA season, sneaker companies are pushing forward with their planned releases for the season. This month, PUMA Hoops is launching their LQDCELL Origin in an eye-catching new colorway, inspired by ’90s product from the brand.
First debuted almost exactly one year ago, PUMA Hoops LQDCELL Origin returns this week, popping in a new vintage-inspired colorway. The hightop silhouette is constructed from a mesh base layer reinforced by leather overlays. The latest colorway of the Origin takes its inspiration from ’90s PUMA product, applying a gradient to the shoe’s neoprene upper that starts with purple in the toe before fading to white at the heel. PUMA’s signature Formstrip overlay some in a deep maroon tone on a shaggy suede base, while other orange and maroon accents adorn the midsole and medial paneling,.
