PUMA’s LQD CELL technology has been making the round in the different silhouettes since it debuted last year. This week, the CELL Omega surfaced in a bright new colorway, launching in stores later next week.

PUMA’s CELL technology first returned to their arsenal of materials in 2018, bringing the hexagonal air bubbles into modern times for the first time since the ’90s. Then, in 2019, PUMA debuted LQD CELL, an updated version of the vintage tech that provides better energy return and support. Now, LQD CELL is slowly making its way across the German sportswear brand’s arsenal, and even dreaming up a few new silhouettes along the way. One of these is the LQD CELL Omega, a chunky runner-style silhouette built for casual wear. This week, the Omega surfaced in a new colorway, just in time for Spring. The look begins with a sunny yellow mesh base layer, reinforced by black leather overlays around the toe, and baby blue leather wrapping around the heel. The lacing system also shares the split-color theme, while the midsole is also divided into varying sections of color.
