PUMA’s Hoops division resurfaced in 2018, making a grand return to the basketball court with a lineup of partner athletes and the Clyde Hardwood. Now, the Hoops team is expanding their offerings, with the newly remodeled Sky silhouette.

PUMA Hoops’ debut of the vintage ’80s Sky LX went down just last week during the NBA’s All-Star Weekend in Chicago, and already the German sportswear giant is doubling down on new colorways. Originally built for the court in the 1980s, the PUMA Sky LX features a high-top padded ankle collar for maxiumum support and stability, while its leather and suede construction make them durable as all hell. Now, as PUMA revives the retro silhouette in a modernized lifestyle form, they are beginning to push out new colorways of the old model. First up, the Sky LX gets the blackout treatment, rebuilding its leather upper entirely in a glossy black sheen, right down to the laces. The PUMA Sky branding on the lateral sides comes in gold foil, while the tongue’s Cat logo remains in white.
