PUMA’s recently revived Hoops division has been going all in since their return to prominence in 2018. Now, after focusing on the NBA for two years, PUMA is turning their attention to the NCAA, with the upcoming “March Madness” colorway of the Legacy.

Puma Hoops’ Legacy silhouette pulls from all corners of the brand’s history in sports, from Pelé’s domination in the Puma King to Tommie Smith’s legendary silent gesture during the 1968 Mexico Summer Olympics. Constructed from a two-toned knit upper, the Legacy features stiff TPU plastic and leather overlays to keep your feet locked in throughout a game. The Legacy then adds thicker materials around the ankle for reinforcement, as well as a flexible leather eyestay for support. Puma’s famous T7 stripe runs up the outside of each ankle, when, combined with the classic Formstrip, provides superior lockdown and protection for your ankles on the court. The latest colorway of the Legacy scheduled to hit retail shelves celebrates “March Madness”, and the love of college basketball that goes hand in hand with the most important month in collegiate hoops.

PUMA’s latest new Hoops silhouette, the Legacy, has been scheduled to launch in the new “March Madness” colorway early next week on March 1st, 2020. The eye-catching red color scheme celebrating the college basketball National Championship will be available from both PUMA and select retailers for $100.
