Back in 2019, PUMA revived it’s long-dormant Hoops division, reinvigorating the brand’s presence in the basketball world. Starting with the Clyde Hardwood, two years later, the Hoops team is back with another update on the classic, the Clyde All-Pro.
PUMA’s classic Clyde silhouette first returned to the hardwood just over one year ago, just in time to debut during the NBA’s opening games. Since then, the Hoops team has been working on plenty of new and reworked silhouettes, strengthening their arsenal with every month. Now, one year after its return, the Clyde is back with another performance-driven, court-ready version, now known as the Clyde All-Pro. Retaining the same general shape of the heritage silhouette, the All-Pro begins with a new knit upper construction, made from Matryx yarn that incorporates both Kevlar and ultra-tough Polyamid-based threads to achieve an incredibly durable but remarkably flexible shape. This upper is then mounted on top of a brand new midsole tooling, combining ProFoam+ cushioning with a Pebax polymer drop in the heel for maximum energy return. Launching this week, the Clyde All-Pro will debut in your choice of two colorways, one white-based with accents in red, blue, yellow, and black, and the second in a greyscale color scheme with hints of hot pink around the PUMA branding.
