PUMA Hoops unveiled it’s latest creation this week, reworking the classic Clyde into a modernized, court-ready performance shoe. In addition, the Cat also gave Kyle Kuzma the chance to design his take on the refined retro, resulting in the Clyde All-Pro Kuzma Mid.

PUMA’s Clyde sneaker has been an essential part of the brand’s history since it launched 50 years ago in 1970, growing from a massively popular basketball shoe to an even more popular lifestyle silhouette. Since then, the Clyde has come and gone in dozens of new colorways and variations, but this year, PUMA is reintroducing the Clyde to the court in a major way. This week, the Clyde returns in it’s new All-Pro format, making its return to the basketball court in a new performance-driven, NBA-ready version. In addition to this, PUMA Hoops signature athlete Kyle Kuzma got the chance to design his unique take on the All-Pro, teaming up with Rhude’s Rhuigi Villanueva for a lifestyle & performance-minded sneakers, the All-Pro Kuzma Mid. In a rare feat of combining design languages, the Kuzma Mid looks pretty much as you would expect if you crossed the Rhude Rhecess High with the retro PUMA Sky LX. Constructed from leather, the shoe features a solid base layer structured by numerous overlays, and plenty of ’90s-style flare for a wild-looking new court sneaker.
