Puma’s revival of their CELL midsole technology from the 90s has been opening a lot of doors for them lately, helping bring a lot of attention to their vintage archives. The latest from this stash of old school sneakers, the Puma CELL Ultra OG is available now.
Puma’s CELL technology has been dominating their release calendar for the past few months, thanks to a string of retro releases from the 90s when the squishy midsole gel first made its debut. Now, Puma’s lifestyle offerings are chock-full both new and old iterations of CELL, gracing both new and old silhouettes as well. This week, another vintage runner has surfaced for release, the Puma CELL Ultra OG. Pulled directly from the 90s, the Ultra OG follows the same design traits as much of the CELL family, beginning with an airy mesh base for the upper that is then reinforced with numerous overlays made from suede or leather.

Puma’s latest revival of an original CELL silhouette brings back the Ultra in its OG glory, this time arriving in two new colorways, both of which are now available directly from Puma. The sleek vintage runner carries a retail price of just $110 and is available from both Puma and select retailers.
