The PUMA Suede was first introduced in 1968 and has since become a footwear and pop culture icon thanks to its presence around the sporting world. This week, PUMA is celebrating 53 years of the Suede, kicking off the “28 Days of Suede” campaign tomorrow.

PUMA’s Suede silhouette turns fifty-three years old in 2021, making the essential sneaker older than most sneakerheads on the planet. To celebrate such a momentous occasion, PUMA has cooked up the “28 Days of Suede” campaign to commemorate the classic look throughout the month of February 2021. Spread out across four weeks, the program will include several different iterations of the Suede, of which several notable releases include the Suede XXI, an updated version of the classic in a full range of colorways, the Suede Classix, which merges the original color schemes into new color blocking, and the Suede Mono Pack, a multi-shoe collection that pits the Suede in various monochromatic colorways.
